Verizon Wireless Outs Blackberry OS 5 Software Update for Storm 2 9550

Verizon Wireless and Research in Motion have officially Blackberry Storm OS 5 update. Verizon Wireless customers with Blackberry Storm 2 phones can now update to Blackberry OS 5. Users can do so by using the Blackberry Desktop Manager where the update should be listed.

The Blackberry Storm 2 software update brings its VZW customers loads of improvements and enhancements.

Features like extended character support for text messages, ability to send message to manifold receiver as multitasking, support for downloading and installing widgets as of V CAST app, etc.

Enhancements comprise of a faster boot-up time, downy transition between wireless coverage area better audio quality during voice calls and superior content-protected video playback.
