This handset seems to set delays, and the Finnish manufacturer has confirmed the bad news, announcing that its flagship smartphone won’t start shipping until “early 2011″.

This handset is going to be released on December 2010. It’s like the Nokia N8 account all over again, as the manufacturer has announced: “To warranty the best promising user experience on the E7 we have decided to begin its delivery in early 2011.”

The Nokia N9 smart phone will be arriving in the UK by 2011. While the news does disappointingly delay the much awaited MeeGo handset, fans of the Nokia N-series will not have to wait too long. The expected launch for the device is early in the first quarter of the year so that means that the phone will still be out soon enough.

Much of the hype and excitement for the new N-series handset stems from the fact that the new phone will be sporting an even newer operating system: the MeeGo mobile platform. This new OS has been developed by Nokia’s Maemo team and Intel’s Moblin developers. Read more… »
